Bugzilla – Bug 8694
Assigning hotkeys to favorites in classic/fishbone skins
Last modified: 2009-07-31 10:24:37 UTC
It doesn't seem to work to assign hotkeys to a favorite using the Classic or Fishbone skin. It works perfectly in the Default skin, but whenever you edit a favorite in the Classic or Fishbone skin the hotkey is lost.
Can you describe the steps in more detail. what I think you are talking about seems to work fine here. drag and drop reorders the favourites and the keys match the new positions. (what I do notice is that the showBriefly for "playing favorite" no longer shows on the player ui)
I'm not talking about the ordering, drag&drop works perfectly. What I'm talking about is if you in the web interface (of Classic): 1. In the Home page click Favorites. 2. Click on the pen-icon (edit button) beside one of the favorites. 3. Change the hotkey parameter, the third parameter to the left of the Save button, so it gets a hotkey number. 4. Click the save button. The result is that the hotkey selected in 3 doesn't get saved or at least it doesn't show up in the web interface. The second problem is that if the favorite had a hotkey before and you just changed something else in the favorite and clicked Save it will lose the previous assigned hotkey.
change 21734 - fix hotkey assignment in Classic/Fishbone skins: - add hotkey parameter to background query - update full page if existing hotkey has been replaced - display title with assigned hotkeys
