Description Ben Klaas 2008-07-08 13:41:20 UTC
in 7.1, going to SC Settings->InfoBrowser doesn't yield a form for adding feeds or listing current ones.

This was found when investigating an issue support saw with a user that was able to add feeds via webUI (SC 7.0) but they weren't showing up on the controller. That may still be an underlying issue after the webUI settings page is fixed.

This is a change Michael made - you don't need to use the settings menu to add feeds. Just go into the Extras - Info Browser menu on the main page and click "new entry" this gives a dialog box which you can add a url to.

ah, gotcha. I think since this stumped both me and Andy, it might be warranted to put some more helpful text on the settings page to point users to where they need to go to enter feeds.

changing summary, target for 7.2

infoBrowser appears to be completely broken on the controller now in 7.1. I'm looking at that now, but have opened 8680 to track

Michael, you want this one for 7.2? Pass it back to me if you don't think it's yours to fix :)

change 21953 - feel free to re-open if you thought about a different solution for this. Added a hint about adding new information sources to Information Browser plugin.
