Bugzilla – Bug 8654
Update to WavPack 4.50
Last modified: 2009-07-31 10:24:00 UTC
A new version of WavPack (4.50.0 for Windows and 4.50.1 for *nix) has been released. SqueezeCenter currently provides an alpha version of wvunpack for Windows because a specific feature was added to it for syntax compatibility between the Windows and Linux versions (ignore -o on Windows) and this is now standard. Also, the latest version has improved handling of corrupt input files and wvunpack no longer ignores the fractions of seconds in the --skip option (which SqueezeCenter uses for playing cue files). I have been testing these extensively with SqueezeCenter on both Windows and Ubuntu Linux without incident. Here are the download links for the Windows binaries and the *nix source distro: http://www.wavpack.com/wavpack-4.50.zip http://www.wavpack.com/wavpack-4.50.1.tar.bz2 Thanks!
It would be easier to update WavPack versions if you could provide: Universal static Mac binary (supporting 10.3+) Static i386 Linux binary Or an easy way to compile this way.
Change 24334.
