Description David Bryant 2008-07-06 07:18:03 UTC
A new version of WavPack (4.50.0 for Windows and 4.50.1 for *nix) has been released.

SqueezeCenter currently provides an alpha version of wvunpack for Windows because a specific feature was added to it for syntax compatibility between the Windows and Linux versions (ignore -o on Windows) and this is now standard.

Also, the latest version has improved handling of corrupt input files and wvunpack no longer ignores the fractions of seconds in the --skip option (which SqueezeCenter uses for playing cue files).

I have been testing these extensively with SqueezeCenter on both Windows and Ubuntu Linux without incident. Here are the download links for the Windows binaries and the *nix source distro:

http://www.wavpack.com/wavpack-4.50.zip

http://www.wavpack.com/wavpack-4.50.1.tar.bz2

Thanks!

It would be easier to update WavPack versions if you could provide:

Universal static Mac binary (supporting 10.3+)
Static i386 Linux binary

Or an easy way to compile this way.

This bug has been fixed in the 7.3.1 release version of SqueezeCenter!

Please download the new version from http://www.slimdevices.com/su_downloads.html if you haven't already.

If you are still experiencing this problem, feel free to reopen the bug with your new comments and we'll have another look.
