Description Julius Dauz 2008-06-30 15:52:34 UTC
I have been helping a customer who has a Transporter and a ReadyNAS that is having issues streaming 24bit/96khz wav and flac files.

Here is the trouble shooting steps we have tried:

- Connect Transporter to router using ethernet (RNAS obviously connected via ethernet as well), still starts to skip.

- Clean install of SC 7.0.1 on the RNAS, still skips

Since the clean install of SC on the RNAS, the customer receives the following message on the TP display when the problem occurs:

"ran out of buffer data memory"

I suspect that the ReadyNAS itself is running out of memory to process the stream, but want QA and the dev team's input, so I filed this bug.

This sounds like a duplicate of bug 4562. If it does not please reopen and add additional comments.

Should be fixed in the 7.1 release that has the new Transporter firmware available at http://www.slimdevices.com/dev_nightly.html
