Has anyone else noticed this?  It looks to me that the "sort by 
artist" tag is being ignored whenever the artist name is the same as 
the album name.  Let's say you've got an album called "John Smith" 
by the singer John Smith.  When you browse by artist name, John 
Smith shows up with the "J"s even if you have "Smith, John" as the 
sort-by-artist ID3 tag.  If you change the album name, everything 
seems to work right again.  Weird.

this should be cleared up with 6.0, right?

Yes - all fixed for 6.0

There are 536 bugs in the database with targets of '---' that were fixed prior to new year 2006.  I am setting them to targets of 6.2.1 to keep them from showing up in my queries.
