Bugzilla – Bug 8590
stream info missing for radio stream
Last modified: 2008-09-24 18:24:29 UTC
7.2 today the more info page is missing for a radio playlist entry. Playing a remote url, when I go from no playing to the detailed page, the page has only the station name. retro-browser shows the more-info entry.
Michael says this was broken on the first day after this change, but he thinks it should be working now. Are you still having an issue, Marc?
I still see nothing on the detail page on the controller. To repeat - press home till I get now playing, then press middle. I see a music icon on top, with the station name next to it twice on two lines. Nothing else on the page. I just installed last nights 7.1. SqueezeCenter Version: 7.1 - 21304 @ Mon Jun 30 01:02:34 PDT 2008 - Debian - EN - iso-8859-1 Retro browser, the IR remote (if I attach to an SB3) and the web all show the info. Controller running 7.1 r2551 And now things are totally broken for the controller! I'll open another bug.
Just to follow up. When I look at a radio stream in a playlist or favorites, there is a more info entry which shows the URL. When I play it, go to Now Playing, press middle button to get playlist, there is NO more info entry. The playlist entry is empty except for the name. Thus - there is no way to see the encoding or bit rate information.
QA to try to reproduce
Unable to reproduce with 7.1 22136 in Ubuntu. I tried a Radio Time stream and Miles Davis, both show the more info option from the now playing menu and it works. Marc do you still see this? If you do, is it with a particular stream or presets?
Still works fine here, Marc or anyone, if you see this again please feel free to re-open with more details (example case).
