When listening to radiostations, the artist info scrobbled is wrong. E.g. when listening to KinkFM (http://www.kinkfm.com/streams/kinkfm.m3u), the artist send to lastfm is e.g. :
"Kink FM Now Playing: The Last Shadow Puppets"
Instead of just:
  "The Last Shadow Puppets"

I'm not sure whether this is an issue on our side or on the provider's side. All the meta-information is delivered by the radio station. If they include the station name in the title tag, then we're out of luck.

I wonder whether radio should be scrobbled at all. After all you can't influence what's being played. Thus this doesn't necessarily represent your taste.

My guess is that SC does some parsing of the information send by the radio station, to split artist and title information. In that case it is not a big step to also remove common markup, like the station name, or "Station Now Playing: ". But I can see this is a sliding line...

Radio metadata is parsed into artist and title when it contains exactly one " - ".
