Description Dylan Rhodes 2008-06-24 09:15:56 UTC
From a CAT tester:

“A brightness adjuster would be good especially at night if it was in the bedroom. I hate light and sometimes the clock radio bothers me with the light it emits. I think maybe an adjuster so if this was used in the bedroom would be a great idea.”

Despite the fact that Boom has a light level sensor and automatic brightness adjustment, it is not adequate for at least one customer.

The Settings / Display menu has options for 'while on', 'while off', 'idle brightness' but they appear to be stubs, at least when connected to boom.squeezenetwork.com. Will these be filled out? If so, best way to approach this might be to offer four options for each of the three modes:

[ ] Automatic [default]
[ ] High
[ ] Medium
[ ] Low

These options are there and working in SC. SN should be updated soon.

QA still needs to verify this, but Michael says it's fixed.
