It will be useful to have a "network settings" option hanging off of the Settings menu. I am aware that the network settings menu can be reached by pressing and holding the BACK button, but this is not something that one would figure out without reading the documentation. Conversely, placing it in the "Settings" menu as well is intuitive, since it may be expected that "network settings" would be part of the "settings" hierarchy.

marking as enhancement. This is also mainly SC related as the Settings Menu is entirely handled from SC (thus affects all players, and must therefore handle the various different settings involved in different players). Rather major enhancement as this type of settings handling is not in SC at all.

We can monitor this over time to see how much interest there is. Andy notes it's not as simple as it sounds.

All new Squeezebox products are likely to be based on the SqueezePlay platform.
We do not plan to implement any further enhancements to the ip3k firmware or
which are targeted specifically at ip3k-based products.
