Description Ben Gladstone 2005-02-24 00:50:55 UTC
after a little use playlist.html does not display. with 2 players, it can happen
for one or both. manually entering the url ...playlist.html shows the page
correctly, but in the frameset it doesn't load
Comment 1 KDF 2005-02-24 02:29:51 UTC
which skin, please?
Comment 2 KDF 2005-02-24 02:36:58 UTC
just rewording the summary for clarity
Comment 3 Ben Gladstone 2005-02-24 02:39:55 UTC
default skin only. It's a firefox thing - it doesn't happen in IE. In firefox,
when i use the browser refresh button the playlist frame alternately appears and
disappears.

with 2 players, one of them shows playlist.html ok; switching into the other
player (with the pulldown) never shows playlist.html

Ben - I don't quite follow what the problem is.

Could you attach a screen shot?

KDF - any ideas?
Comment 5 KDF 2005-02-26 15:27:51 UTC
no ideas. I suspect its the old player controls reding bug, whre it doesn't
load. I can't reproduce it myself. it could be something with the javascript
in status_header. is uses document.reload(true)...maybe that doesn't work on
aLL versiond of EI. it is quite commond for IE (and moreso for the ActiveX IE
component used in teh GUI app to be painfully idiotic over common javascript
support.

this happens only in Firefox and only when using the router's external IP
(which is NAT-redirected to another local machine running slimserver). When
using the slimserver's local network address, this doesn't happen.

Ben - is this fixed for you using Alpha 2?

I checked in some code which I believe fixes the problem.

Comment 8 Dan Sully 2005-03-08 11:01:23 UTC
Ben - have you tried with the latest nightly?

Thanks.

still happening with 6.0b1 + Firefox + accessed via NAT firewall. (using local
subnet address + firefox doesn't show the problem.) i can give you the external
url if that's any help
