Bugzilla – Bug 8486
Special Love/Hate icons are not reset to REPEAT/SHUFFLE
Last modified: 2009-07-31 10:23:04 UTC
The Slacker Love (heart) / Hate (ban) icons will show up in SC 7.2 when playing a Rhapsody Playlist. This will happen when using the Player UI to do the ON <channel> command. Steps to Reproduce 1. Play a slacker station using either the Player UI or SC UI 2. On the player, go right to ON Rhapsody 3. Browse thought the Rhapsody info to play the selected artists track/album 4. Notice on the WEB UI, that the Slacker Icons are still visible. Clicking on the icons will have no effect
Now if I could use Slacker, this would be easier to reproduce... can you reproduce the issue with Pandora or Last.fm icons?
Yes I can repro the issue using Pandora as well. NOTE: if I force a reload of the page (whip cache and reload) then the icons go away, being replaced by Repeat/Shuffle. if I just let the page be, the playlist & now playing will update properly, but the icons will not.
Ok, that will help testing. I assume you're on the latest revision?
7.2-20714 on MAC OSX 10.5 with Safari 3.1.1 (5525.20)
This problem is very generic, failing to fall back to the default FWD/REW buttons whenever any of the special handlers stops using it. No matter whether Slacker or Pandora, then playing Rhapsody, internet radio, local music, from player UI or web. It's just broken in all cases :-/
Ahm... these are the REPEAT/SHUFFLE buttons...
change 20943 - display default icons when special handler has finished playing
