Description Mickey Gee 2008-06-17 17:06:33 UTC
The current plan is to phase in the GE lenses in late July. When that happens, a new range of UUIDs will be started to coincide with the change in supplier.

The firmware needs to change at that time to have its ambient light sensor calculations changed when it sees this range of specific UUID values.
Comment 1 Felix Mueller 2008-06-24 03:48:54 UTC
I guess you mean MAC address and or board rev, not UUID
Comment 2 Mickey Gee 2008-06-24 14:49:53 UTC
It is indeed board rev, not UUID. Look for values above 0030. Currently using 0023 and 0024.
Comment 3 Mickey Gee 2008-06-24 14:50:35 UTC
I mean values equal to or greater than 0030.
Comment 4 Felix Mueller 2008-06-25 09:17:15 UTC
Code added in firmware to use different lightsensor calculation if board revision is equal or bigger than 0x0030.

This is in fw 17 (r4410)
