Description Greg Hamilton 2005-02-23 19:39:54 UTC
Looks like with the importer changes, the moodlogic playlist are not being
imported. I'm not seeing them in the logs any more. Actually I see any custom
playlist I have created but I'm not seeing the standard Genre/Speed mixes.

I have also just noticed that browsing by Genre is wacked. I only have three items.

I've just managed to try this out and I'm unable to reproduce. d_moodlogic
comes up with one custom playlist and 38 auto playlists. Are you running from a
fresh database or an existing one? is moodlogic enabled in server settings,
plugins?

KDF,

Fresh database, no autodir defined, just using moodlogic.
I have the one customer list, but none of the auto playlists are there.

Also for some reason, I have no genre's to browse against either.
using latest from SVN as of this morning. I believe it was revision 2186.

I'm using active perl and running from the command line on windows.

I'm guessing the genre issue will be fixed with a readTags() change.
Comment 4 KDF 2005-02-24 14:04:39 UTC
moodlogic should be providing genre with or without readTags. Even though
moodlogic doesn't really support the concept of album, the album tags are also
provided. Again, somethign I was unable to reproduce. with or without a
readTags change.

can you attach the log using d_moodlogic, preferrably from command-line so that
the startup is included. Maybe its reporting a corrupted moodlogic DB? One
thing to try before the log is start moodlogic with the server off. Let it
start up completely, then shut it down. Wipe the slimserver db and let that
start up and scan.

KDF,

Moodlogic was buggered. No errors and testing utility showed it as good.
I re-installed it from scratch and re-activated the entire library.

Playlists are back. Please disregard my rantings.

no problem :)

There are 536 bugs in the database with targets of '---' that were fixed prior to new year 2006. I am setting them to targets of 6.2.1 to keep them from showing up in my queries.
