Description Spies Steven 2008-06-10 09:33:25 UTC
AAC should have its own transcoding line instead of being grouped with movie file for decoding with mov123, just like we did with ALAC. This would make it easier for those that would like to switch over to FAAD for AAC decoding without loosing the ability of decoding other mov123 compatible formats.

Bug 4662 is related.

why not include the faad command lines in the file as well (commented out of course).

It may even be possible to do something with the command checker so we can leave both command lines in the conf file, but the server will use the first one it finds with a valid binary (ie choosing faad if it's installed)

Looks like this is actually a dupe of bug 3174
