Bugzilla – Bug 8351
Missing Artwork on new music loaded via iTunes
Last modified: 2012-02-27 17:33:27 UTC
I use Squeezecentre onfor ReadyNAS and when I load New music into iTunes the following occurs. For example album Nothing but the Best by Frank Sinatra. After library has rescanned I select Music Library, then Artist, then Frank Sinatra. Album Title shows but artwork is missing. I choose the Album and when the playlist appears the artwork is there.I go back to Home, then select Music Library, then Artist, then Frank Sinatra and the artwork now shows. This happens on all new albums I am loading. It appears you have to select it before something kicks in to allow the artwork to be shown either in Squeezecenter on on the Duo Hnadset. If I try the same on the Duo I cannot get the artwork to appear until I have selected it in Squeezecanter so it looks like a bug in squeezecenter. The artwork is fine in iTunes at all times.
Steven this seems like it could be a duplicate, but if not please have a look for 7.2
is the scan "new and changed" or "wipe and rescan", or just allowing the iTunes automatic scan to trigger after then new changes are detected? is the music folder set, or it is just itunes import?
Peter, have you had a chance to try with SqueezeCenter 7.1 as well?
Peter, please try the latest nightly 7.3 and see if you still have the issue. http://wiki.slimdevices.com/index.php/Nightly_Builds
