Description Wallace Lai 2008-06-05 12:02:34 UTC
SqueezeCenter Version: 7.2 - 20005 @ Thu May 22 00:51:54 PDT 2008 - Windows 2000 - EN - cp1252
Server IP address:
Perl Version: 5.8.8 MSWin32-x86-multi-thread
MySQL Version: 5.0.22-community-nt

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Start SqueezeCenter.
2. Go to classic skin.
3. Make sure a SqueezeBox or other player is connected to SC.
4. Go to the Player Settings to make a really long name for the player.
5. Notice the characters after number 33 become weired. SC accepts the name without warning, it is not shown properly.
6. Example: SqueezeBoxWithMACAddress00:04:20:¬¼n

Suggestion: The text field should just stop accepting chars after certain length.

Note: Already showed this bug to Michael Herger.

This should probably be assigned to Ben, I think.

This is how I'd fix it, but this is really Michael's territory

thanks Ben - applied in 21030 (and don't worry about me being touchy if you want to fix this kind of bug :-))
