Description Philip Meyer 2008-06-04 17:24:53 UTC
When I bring up the mixers (with play.hold) and select MusicIP, I get a list of the tracks that have been selected for the mix. I can press play to start playback of that mix.

However, each track has a right-arrow symbol, but nothing happens when right-arrow is pressed. I assume it should be possible to press right-arrow to bring up the song information. Pressing play on any track seems to play the playlist from the first track in the list.

I'd like to be able to pick a song from a mix and decide to use that as a seed for a mix instead. Eg. so I could select a favourite album, artist or genre, bring up a musicIP mix, and from there select a song by a different artist and play a mix based on that song.

This seems to be working for me. Can you reproduce the issue if you disable all other mixers, so that press & hold play would instantly create a mix?

You're right - I disabled third-party plugins, and the right-arrow now works within a MusicIP mix, in that it brings up Song Information.

I can't start a mix from Title, Artist, Album, Genre within Song Information though. Eg. if I want to start a mix seeded on a chosen song, I have to go into the song information, drill into album, select the song title in that list, and then I can press play.hold. If the album is "No Album", for which I have hundreds of songs, scrolling through the list of songs to find the song I've already selected is a pain.

Ok, the remaining issue is covered by bug 8330. Thanks.
