Bugzilla – Bug 8302
UI should make full use of the size of the user's browser window
Last modified: 2009-10-05 16:43:45 UTC
A user wanted me to file an enhancement request to how the Squeezenetwork UI should be. Below is a description of what the user would like to see. I can explain that lists of items (such as radio stations) on the UI should make full use of the size of the user's browser window, rather than being presented in a small fixed size box, which must be scrolled separately. The version of the UI prior to the big 'upgrade' about 4-6 months ago did this perfectly well - please take a look at that.
QA to validate which Browsers are affected.
one of the goals of the Devo new skin
Matt - adding you to the CC list, as this is kind of the "master bug" for all kind of issues we're seeing due to the fixed size layout (aka. currently broken skin)
This will definitely be addressed as part of the new "skin." It might not specifically result in a 100-percent browser width design (that can introduce its own set of problems, and you still need to design for a minimum monitor resolution of 1024 regardless, since over 50 percent of web users still have that max width). But we will definitely use something wider than the current version - and more flexible.
that's for liberace
The SN web UI is completely overhauled for the mysqueezbox.com release.
This bug has been fixed in the latest release of MySqueezebox.com (formally known as SqueezeNetwork)! If you are still experiencing this problem, feel free to reopen the bug with your new comments and we'll have another look.
