Squeezecenter does not recognize files via symlink to USB mount
Last modified: 2009-07-31 10:22:02 UTC
Squeezecenter 7.0.1 can see the symbolic link made for a USB external drive. However, it does not recognize the files contained in the folder pointed to by the symbolic link. I tested it and verified the issue. Squeeze center 7.0.1 Ubuntu 7

Indeed this fails. Symlink to another local directory works fine, SqueezeCenter follows it and both directories make it to the music library. This fails however when the Symlink points to a directory on USB flash.
permissions? I know in my case, usb mounts are root access. lack of error message seems to fall with File::Next which is calling the error handler with no information.
lrwxrwxrwx.
