When the customer tries to synchronize his  
Squeezebox v.3 with Softsqueeze 3.6, they initially synchronize correctly.  However,as he plays songs through a playlist, the  result of the synchronization is the song  played over Softsqueeze would fall a fraction of a second behind the Squeezebox, which is annoying to the customer.

Synchronization with SoftSqueeze is not supported. The systems makes a best-effort to maintain sync between SoftSqueeze and hardware players but this is very dependent upon the specific operating system, audio-subsystem, and sound-card in use. It might be possible to improve things using the settings (Settings / Players / <player> / Audio) but in many cases it is simply not possible.

We do not plan to improve this further.
