Description Mark Miksis 2008-05-27 16:15:48 UTC
This applies to both SC and SBC:

RadioTime has supported station logos for a month or so now. These logos are now used in SC in both the RadioTime menus and when adding a station as a favorite (thanks Michael). This is a request to also propagate this logo as artwork for the NP display on SC and SBC. Currently, the generic radio tower artwork is displayed.

I think I had a look at this before, but encountered issues, as these icons are only available in the .opml file we're downloading form radiotime, but not the meta information. Will see what we can do. Best would be if RadioTime included it with the data.

Now that we keep the same URL during playback I think this will be pretty easy to do.

Added in 7.1 change 20501.

This is cool, thanks. I noticed one issue though:

If I play a favorite that points to a radiotime entry, I still get the old radio tower. If I play a station from the RadioTime menus, I get correct icon. Once I've played a station from the menus, I can then play it later from favorites and the correct icon is displayed.

Correct, the cover is only cached after browsing the RT OPML where the artwork is linked.
