Description Michael Herger 2008-05-23 22:51:39 UTC
I've been quickly scrolling down an mp3tunes/Artists list on SN using the knob. After some moment the list got stuck, and eventually Boom lost connection to SN. After a few seconds it came back automatically.

Triode assumes there's congestion of IR commands when connected over a long/slow line.

I can see the menu items lagging when turning the wheel quickly, but I cannot get it to disconnect.

Isn't that going to improve when Boom is connecting to production SN?

Are you still seeing disconnects?

Fixed in rev4611. Will be in fw 20.

I was unable to repo this with r26

FWIW - I still can get this to happen, though Boom won't reboot any more, but just fall back to the standalone clock for a bit.

I've got a MP3Tunes account with some 600 artists on it (don't know why there are more than in my local collection...). The first time I scroll through that list it's ok. Once I reach the bottom, something changes. If I start scrolling back immediately, it won't accelerate any longer, but will get stuck after a few elements.

BTW: you can see the same effect when scrolling like a fool in shorter lists as well. Just keep spinning, or spin in the other direction: the menu will stuck for a second. It doesn't loose connection as in the above case, but it still gets stuck for a short moment.
