In testing the setup text in multiple languages, I was able to get a PA1 and PQP2 unit to hang regularly after I had performed a Factory Reset and was in the middle of initial setup.

It would most often hang after I selected my SqueezeCenter server. When I see the message "Setup complete Press center knob to continue", I would press the center knob and that message would stay on the screen until I pulled the power cord from the unit. Press any front panel button or turning the front knob did not change this.

I saw this very often, but not consistently, with German. Never saw this with Danish, Swedish, Finnish. I didn't try all of the languages. Seen sometimes with English.

I tried this about 10 times with German and it was always ok. (Wireless setup, DHCP, connecting to SC.)

Did you try to push the center knob again? You only write you tried other buttons and / or turning the knob.

Also does it matter whether you connect wireless or wired / using DHCP / fixed?

Could you try the same with the remote? Does it happen then too?
