Description Malcolm 2008-05-20 04:00:51 UTC
I successfully load squeezecenter 7.1, but when I click on start server, after some time, the button still remains start server, ie, I can't load the web page. This seems to happen with 7.01 as well. Running the latest MAC OS Tiger. Have tried deleting all slim and squeeze folders and starting over, but no luck it seems. Have been waiting for the next build to see if it is resolved, but so far (couple of days) no go. Still waiting. Thanks, Malcolm

Malcolm, please contact support with this issue. Support information can be found at http://www.slimdevices.com/su_tech.html When you talk to them let them know that you opened bug 8200 so they can add comments, thanks.

In the meantime you can try removing all traces of SlimServer and SqueezeCenter and installing 7.0.1 fresh. To do so you need to remove all of the following if they exist:

For SqueezeCenter the paths are:
-  Home > Library > Application Support > SqueezeCenter
-  Home > Library > PreferencePanes > SqueezeCenter.prefPane
-  Home > Library > Caches > SqueezeCenter
-  Home > Library > Preferences > com.slim*
-  Macintosh HD > Library > PreferencePanes > SqueezeCenter.prefPane (may or
may not exist)

For SlimServer the paths are:
-  Home > Library > SlimDevices
-  Home > Library > PreferencePanes -> SlimServer.prefPane
-  Home > Library > Caches > SlimServer
-  Home > Library > Preferences -> com.slim*
- Macintosh HD > Library > SlimDevices (may or may not exist)
-  Macintosh HD > Library > PreferencePanes -> SlimServer.prefPane (may or may
not exist)
