Bugzilla – Bug 8185
Default Skin Basic Settings initally blank
Last modified: 2008-05-20 06:34:41 UTC
When I open the settings window, default settings (left most tab) is selected but screen is blank. If I navigate to another tab and back it then populates.
I've seen this too (on 7.2), but it is not 100% repeatable. I'll try to see if I can figure out how to reproduce it. (I'm on Ubuntu 8.04, FF2.)
Sorry to be dumb. This only fails for me with Firefox 3RC1. It works on Firefox 2 and IE 7. I'm not competent to figure out what 3RC1 is doing wrong, and thus to report it.
Can you see some JavaScript error in FF3? Would be great if you could install Firebug (a FF extension) to see what's wrong if there was an issue with JS.
Change 19875 - define the iframe's source url, don't rely on JS only. Feel free to re-open if you still see this happen with the next nightly build. Thanks!
Michael - I see your change won't be built till tonight - I'll try it tomorrow. Unfortunately, one of the current release critical Firefox F3 bugs is that firebug doesn't work!
I have verified that it now displays. However, I have also found a firebug for 3RC1 and the initial server page (NOT the settings page) shows the error: function eval must be called directly, and not by way of a function of another name http://aptiva:9000/html/ext/adapter/ext/ext-base.js?r=19909 Line 9 Is this important? If so, what can I do to get you more information?
