Screenshot

Changing the Menus options for the player will cause strange behaviors on SB3 unit. See picture

Symptoms:
Player display will go blank.
Player will get stuck displaying “connecting to Squeezenetwork”.
If the volume adjusted the volume bar will be displayed forever.

If we click on the option “Reset to default”, everything goes back to normal and the SB3 player functions correctly again.

QA to find repro instructions and assess severity.

I am unable to reproduce this error. Tested SB2 / SB3 / Transporter / Boom. players synced with SN>SC and players on SN only.

I am able to add / remove menu items with no problems.

The only time I am able to get a "blank" screen is when I 'hide' menu items that are the same as 'display' items.

I.E. remove all but Now Playing then hide Now Playing. Maybe we should add a check to SC/SN to not allow hiding of item displayed?

OK, I think I understand the error now. If you remove ALL but 1 menu item (doesn't matter what item) from the Main Menu, then your player will display a blank screen. time/date won't even show up.

This must be what the original error was about.

Is this still an issue?
