Description Michael R. DeAngelis 2005-01-30 08:32:49 UTC
When I try to listen to Shoutcast internet statios at 128K bitrate I get about
20 sec. of music followed by 15 sec. pause. Also, I get 40-60% cpu utilization.
Any lower bitrate plays fine with 2-5% cpu utilization. Playing these same 128K
streams using Foobar2000 works fine (no pauses and 2-5% cpu utilization). I
have tried this on two different machines with both Squeezebox and Slim3 and
also with Softsqueeze. Please let me know if I can provide any other
information. Thanks....Mike DeAngelis

mike, we need some more details. What stream are you using? Do you have bitrate limiting turned on
in the server settings? Do, for example, radioio streams work?

Can't reproduce here. Michael: Can you try the latest nightly release and see if it's resolved and reopen
the bug if not. Thanks!

Routine bug db maintenance; removing old versions which cause confusion. I apologize for the inconvenience.
