Description Julius Dauz 2008-04-28 14:21:14 UTC
A couple of users have reported this to me and I was also able to repro the issue.

Connected to SqueezeNetwork. User tries to play Pandora for the first time on any given day. Able to view Stations, but once you initiate a Play command from the Controller, it reports that it is Now Playing the station, but it doesn't play. Going to the Now Playing screen, display says Nothing. User is able to play Internet Radio stations with out issues at this point. The user then power cycles just the Controller and when it reboots and reconnects, he is able to play Pandora stations again without issues.

QA to investigate

I tested this again by leaving my SBR/SBC connected to SqueezeNetwork overnight. I was Playing a Pandora station yesterday evening and paused it before I left it alone overnight. This morning I go to select a different station to play and after pressing Play on a stations, a dialog box comes up on the Controller saying, "Now Playing: x station", but nothing plays. I then navigate to the Now Playing screen and it displays "Nothing". I then test to see if I can play anything else, and I am able to play Internet Radio stations. I then go to SN and initiate a Pandora station for the SBR and it plays fine, then I attempt to change the Station from the SBC and it is now able to initiate the playing of a station.

When I first filed this bug, I was unable to play stations from the Controller after iniating a station from SN.

I reproduced this on the first try. Left Jive connected to Squeeze Network docked, next morning browsed to a Pandora station and clicked play, nothing happens. Tried again with another station same thing.

Andy, can we have a look at this for 7.0.1?
Comment 5 Andy Grundman 2008-05-09 09:02:26 UTC
Has this been seen on SC or just SN? If just SN, it's not something that we need to worry about for 7.0.1.
Comment 6 Ross Levine 2008-05-09 12:06:57 UTC
I only saw this while connected to SN.
Comment 7 Julius Dauz 2008-05-28 17:13:43 UTC
I am still seeing this occur in SN. Have you been able to reproduce this Andy?
Comment 8 Andy Grundman 2008-05-29 08:42:22 UTC
Fixed in trunk change 20309.
Comment 9 Julius Dauz 2008-06-09 14:33:38 UTC
Andy - This is a blind fix on the users end correct?
Comment 10 Andy Grundman 2008-06-09 14:57:59 UTC
Yes, no need to do anything.
Comment 11 James Richardson 2008-12-15 13:01:21 UTC
