Hi

I searched, couldn't find something like this.


Is it possible to use Duet remote to select TV channels on my Media Center?

I'd love a plugin that could switch TV channels, schedule recordings, start AVI's?

Like a windows media remote, but with a sexy colour GUI.

Is this possible you ask?  

Vista MCE has several API hooks into it.  First is the Media Center Extender that uses RDP and a special streaming MPEG port for video.  Leave that one then.  

Second is the Softsled, a GUI that shipped with Vista RC1 and was removed, however the hooks are there and they are used by the freeware program WebGuide.  

Finally there is a Sidebar gadget plugin remote control.
