Description Anthony De Lucia, Jr. 2005-01-21 07:49:23 UTC
Using the Web Interface default skin I found the following bug (?):

"Home/Music Folder"
Indicates "Songs n to nnn" but this is not an accurate representation of the
contents of the folder (i.e. not an indication of the number of 'songs').
Apparently the count is of all files and folders within the "music" folder and
should be labeled accordingly.

I'm seeing Songs 1 to 15 of 48 on my setup, as exepcted. This is with the 6.0
and 5.4.1 nightly builds. Perhaps you may want to try those out and see if any
of your issues are already fixed:

My point is they are not "songs"...

In my music folder I have artist folders... In each artist folder I have
album folders... etc...

The count reflected in my music folder is for the number of "artist folders"
not songs. The count functionality works fine - I am questioning the use of
the label that indicates "song".

It sounds like browse music folder should list "items" instead of "songs".

I'd be fine with "items" in every case. this would mean just a simple change to
pagebarheader.html. However, I notice that browse artwork doesn't even use this
header. That would be an ok option too. you can bounce this my way if you want
to be take care of it. one way or another.

Routine bug db maintenance; removing old versions which cause confusion. I apologize for the inconvenience.
