Description Adam Slim 2008-04-23 12:33:14 UTC
I find that long titles are a bit frustrating to use on the Controller, as it can take a while to scroll across. Using more of the spare space (it looks to me like you could fit three rows of text in the space that an album cover takes) would be a great help.

Specifically, my album titles take the format "Symphony No. 5 in C minor - Carlos Kleiber, Vienna Phil". Where I have more than one performance of a piece, it takes quite a while to scroll across to the conductor/orchestra, which is a pain. Especially if I have two by the same conductor! My artwork on my classical is a bit hit-and-miss.

Ideally I guess an option with number of rows. Even if the number were three, say, I think I'd still need it to scroll to make sure that there was enough info.

Richard notes it's quite difficult to do, and Michael notes that if the text scrolls to many lines it opens up a whole new can of worms.

See also Bug 5969. Once this bug is fixed then we will be able to support multiple hight menu items, probably in 7.2.
