Description Doug Williams 2008-04-19 06:35:31 UTC
The password list position is not retained between characters when entering the wireless network password. Remembering, in my experience, appears to be a fairly wide standard and makes it easier to enter passwords that use blocks of similar characters - i.e. a few upper, then a few lower, then a few numbers, etc. Since numbers and lower case letters are essentially where it flips back to now those are easy but I can't recall another device that didn't remember, off hand, so it seems to be against common expectations.
Comment 1 Felix Mueller 2008-07-25 01:05:01 UTC
This won't make it into 7.2
Comment 2 Felix Mueller 2008-11-06 09:35:51 UTC
Doh, there will be no 7.4 - moving it to 8.0
Comment 3 Doug Williams 2009-01-22 20:11:48 UTC
Could/should this be moved to 7.4?

All new Squeezebox products are likely to be based on the SqueezePlay platform.
We do not plan to implement any further enhancements to the ip3k firmware or
which are targeted specifically at ip3k-based products.
