Description Jim McAtee 2008-04-17 20:24:54 UTC
Currently the option for setting the function of the line out jack is out in the setup menu's 'Current Settings'. It should be in the more accessible Settings, near options such as Crossfade and Volume.

The option also needs to be added to the web interface under player Audio settings.
Comment 1 Felix Mueller 2008-05-01 03:53:12 UTC
Added new audio command 'audo' in firmware to set analog output mode (0 = headphone, 1 = sub out) from SC. (r4182 - fw 6)

See Slim/Player/Boom.pm (r19311) for an example. Needs to be added to the web ui.

The web interface looks fine. Switching seems to work. Though I don't have headphones to test, if my sub is hooked up to the line out then the speakers will cut off in headphone mode and come back on in subwoofer mode.

Web text may need adjusted. If the port on the Boom is labeled 'Line Out' then it might be better if it were labeled in the web ui as 'Line Out Mode'.
