Description Jim Carlton 2008-04-17 12:32:24 UTC
Mac mini running SC 7.2~18580 (verbally confirmed as occuring on Windows and SC 7.0.0 as well)
Ray running FW 23
Jive running R2166

Steps to reproduce the problem
==============================
1. Verify Jive and Ray connected and working correctly. Can be playing
music or paused; the bug occurs regardless of what the player/controller
   are doing.

2. Turn off the computer.

3. Jive and Ray show blue icons.

4. Navigate to Home > Music Source and choose SqueezeNetwork.

5. Jive cannot connect and after timeout elapses, displays Try again screen.
Trying again does nothing except display the spinner before failing back
   to thesame screen.

To connect to SN at this point requires resetting both Jive and Ray, and going back through the setup process.
Comment 2 James Richardson 2008-04-18 09:02:22 UTC
Using 7.0.1 with r2269 & r23 I get the receiver to transfer to SN but the controller gets lost on the way to SN.

If I turn the controller off, and back on, then it connect to SN right away.

I will create a log and attach

Richard says he'll have another look at this. James says he's going to try as well and capture a log. Richard wants to know if this is intermittent.
Comment 4 Chris Owens 2008-04-18 09:16:22 UTC
To clarify, Richard and James are going to look at this for 7.0.1 to see if it also exists there. If not, we will retarget this bug.

Fixed in r2297. This is a work around until the refactoring required for Bug 6683. It functions correctly, but the UI interaction is not perfect (it does not automatically return home once connected to SqueezeNetwork).

SC > SN Jive Log

Verified still an issue with 7.0.1 - 19325 r2409 - r23

I am able to switch between Local Server (SC) and SN no problem if SC is running. The issue happens when Duet is connected to SC, then SC is stoped, then Duet attempts to connect to SN.

The Receiver will get to SN, but the Controller gets lost. See attached log.

If I power cycle the Controller, it "auto" connects to the receiver on SN no problem.
Comment 7 Richard Titmuss 2008-06-26 00:34:35 UTC
Fixed in 7.1 r2600.
Comment 8 James Richardson 2008-07-16 15:48:03 UTC
Verified fixed in

Controller 7.1 r2699
Receiver r36
SB2/3 r101
Transporter r49
