When connected to SqueezeNetwork, the applet installer option is still viable in the controller menu

Settings > Advanced > Applet Installer

Selecting this option will cause the controller to lock up

Connected to SC this error does not happen (as applet controller is a SC feature only)

I believe Triode is already aware of this problem.  It's an issue with how to deal with applets that are distinct as part of the controller software, but expect/rely on an SC connection

Yes we should remove applet installer from the menu when connected to SN.  I'll take a look at it.

change 2246 - it should now only show when connected to SC with a player as this is the only time we can be sure to find the server and download applets

I'll leave you to check and close.

This bug has recently been fixed in the latest release of SqueezeCenter 7.0.1

Please try that version, if you still see the error, then reopen this bug.
