The display dialog box error from OS "No Disk Error"

I have isolated an error in SlimCenter when it loads. The system OS reports a "No Disk Error" The error does not occur when the software is not invoked. The error also occurs when loading the installation/setup routine, I have uninstalled and reinstalled the software several times and the error follows the SlimCenter installation. This error happens when the installation program initiates (you and cancel the error to continue the installation) then every time the program is loaded the OS reports a "No Disk Error" the error occurs every time SlimCenter loads.  The system try icon displays "perl app" when in this error, if the error is "canceled" through (takes about 3-6 cancels) the program will load. Also when this error occurs my Squeezebox cannot talk to SlimCenter. So it is SlimCenter
making a call to the OS and the OS responds in error. see attached OS screen  error in pdf format.
