Description Osama Zaidan 2008-04-08 13:23:17 UTC
WMA files are not playing after upgrading Slimserver to Squeezecenter.
Customer does not know what type of wma file he has, but sent a sample.
I tested the file in my mac computer and I ran to the same issue.
WMA is native format to the Squeezebox the file should play regardless of the platform.

File attached is a WMA 9.1 lossless file. We do not support WMA 9.1 lossless decoding on the hardware at this time. See bug 2565. Server side decoding of WMA 9.1 lossless is only supported on the Windows platform currently.
Comment 3 James Richardson 2008-04-09 10:12:19 UTC
This isn't supported, but there should be a clear error message
Comment 4 Andy Grundman 2008-04-09 11:09:46 UTC
Improved the error message displayed in this situation in 7.0.1 change 18610.

The error is now: "Problem: WMA Lossless requires Windows"
Comment 5 Spies Steven 2008-05-08 10:17:29 UTC
Error message verified fixed with SqueezeCenter Version: 7.0.1 - 19522
