Description Kyle Champlin 2008-04-07 10:33:49 UTC
Slimserver running on Ubuntu "Gusty" with latest updates. If machine is removed from the network (shutdown, unplug, etc) and then added back, controller will not allow me to access the machine as a library/source. I then can not select any other source for music (squeezecenter/internet radio/etc). I then select the "update" option on the remote and after the update occurs and the remote "reboots" I am able to access the computer and internet radio options.

Kyle: Which version of Squeezecenter are you running?

Please try this on the latest nightly build 7.0.1

Did your server machine change IP address after the reboot?

This bug may be fixed in 7.0.1, please retest

To flesh out the case, system has a static IP address (192.169.1.50) which I have also set to be the IP address on my router to be out on the DMZ.
Tested with 7.0.1 release looks like it picks it up almost immediately when I reconnect to the network.
