Description Brooks Davis 2008-04-04 09:55:42 UTC
I had a file with weirdly misformated tags (including duplicates) that was causing the scanner to create malformed INSERT commands. This caused the whole process to error out and fail to store data past a reboot. The error occured in the 6.x series, but the database stored data across restarts so this seems to be a partial regression. The error from scanner.log and a dump of the tags are in the URL.

Can you please attach a file containing these bad tags?

Also, please post your logs in this bug.

sorry for the delay, I had accidently deleted the origional one and needed to find a small test file to tag and make sure it still broke things.

Fixed in 7.0.1 change 18520. Bad tags like this will still cause your tracks to be listed wrong (title of "The Wall / The Wall / The Wall" for example) but I suppose you expected that.

Verified to be fixed 7.0.1 - 19522.
Comment 8 James Richardson 2008-05-15 12:30:17 UTC
This bug has recently been fixed in the latest release of SqueezeCenter 7.0.1

Please try that version, if you still see the error, then reopen this bug.
