Bugzilla – Bug 7703
Visualizer screen gets extended text stuck, won't clear
Last modified: 2008-12-15 12:33:18 UTC
The visualizer screen (right side) of Transporter gets 'extended text' stuck on it if you select the screensaver mode, then switch to a different one. The stuck text does not change or clear after you have switched away to another screensaver type. This change/behavior was seen while manipulating the TP via the web UI of SC7.0.0. Selecting a different screensaver type via the front panel (I used the remote this time) did clear it, and it behaved noramlly. That is, I chose the extended text version again, it updated with the current song infe, and I switched away to a different one, and it cleared as expected. Going back to the web UI and switching things breaks it again.
I suspect this is a server rather than firmware problem - could you describe a set of steps to reproduce it?
Sure- 1. Start Transporter, play music. 2. Via the Web UI, manage the settings for Transporter and change the Visualizer screen to 'Extended Text Display'. Apply. 3. Change the Visualizer screen to a different setting, say Spectrum Analyzer. Display will change but not clear the text from the previous setting, ever. Manipulating the Transporter via front panel controls or the remote clears this behavior.
fixed in change 18446. Please check tomorrows 7.0.1 nightly and mark as fixed assuming it is..
