Subject: [slimp3-dev] Feature request -- "play next"
Reply-To: slimp3-dev@yahoogroups.com

I would love:

1) ability to add a new song/album at the top of the queue from the remote
(i.e. "Play next")
2) ability to manipulate the queue from the remote (perhaps a "grab song"
button, and then the cursor keys move the song w/in the queue, showing the
"grabbed" song at the top (or bottom) of the display and the song below (or
above) it on the other line.
3) ability (while scrolling through the queue) to move the song you are on
to the top of the queue (i.e. "play this song from the queue next")

(3) would almost be better than (2), if the next song the "cursor" moved to
was the song before the one you just shoved to the top. That would make it
easier to move a whole album to the top of the queue, from within it, by
repeatedly pressing "play next".

Hmmm. I take that back. (3) and (2) complement each other, rather than
one being better than the other.

I just like to listen to uninterrupted streams of music. But sometimes, I
want to hear a song "now" (really, "next").

Press and hold ADD on selected items should insert them to be played next. There's currently no way
to move a track once on the playlist from the remote.
