Several people have recently posted in the forums that they're seeing some degradation of their VFD displays, noticeable at the center of the display, by having constantly used the date/time screensaver when the system is idle.  Someone suggested very slowly moving the display area left and right.  An option to do this would be nice, with the option specifying how frequently (in seconds) the display should move.  Moving just one or two pixels at a time would likely be sufficient, although it may also be a good idea to have the screensaver begin by using a random position for the display.
