Description Ben Klaas 2008-03-27 19:57:14 UTC
I moved my "production" SC and jives on to 7.0.1 today, and in both jive upgrades after it came back up I got an invalid mac/uuid error.

Error message seems erroneous though, as I can still use everything including rhapsody, etc.

cc:ing QA on this one. I'm sure they will see it as well as they start moving SC/SBCs from 7.0 to 7.0.1

Assigning to QA, lets keep an eye out for this one. So far, I haven't seen the issue on my test rig.

turns out this is working as intended...

Richard set me straight in campfire:

ben that invalid uuid/mac address bug, are you sure you have a valid uuid on your jives?
Ben K.
heh, that's a hoot...i was literally just staring at that bug thinking "do I have a valid uuid on my jives"?
Richard T.
you would be able to use rhapsody without a uuid via SC, it's just you won't get the option to connect to SN.
Richard T.
what's fw_printenv say?
Ben K.
how do I get fw_printenv info?
Richard T.
on the shell, type fw_printenv :)
