When you plug Boom in, you hear a thump over the speakers. It would be great to suppress this.

happens a lot actually.  for me it seemed to happen on startup, on wireless scan, and network connection attempts.

Yes, that's right, on every reset.  This will be solved by holding the power amps in reset during these transitions, then bringing it out of reset while in mute, then bringing it out of mute.

This bug has been fixed in the latest release of SqueezeCenter!

Please download the new version from http://www.slimdevices.com/su_downloads.html if you haven't already.
