Description panos 2008-03-21 14:29:52 UTC
Hello.
I experience a strange behavior on my SB3.
At my place, the box connects to the Squeezenetwork through an ISA 2006 server with internal address of 192.168.0.100 and proxy port of 8080.
Everything is working fine, the proxy is transparent to the SB3 and the IP is assigned using DHCP.
The box connects to the network using WPA encrypted wireless.
I took my box and visited a friend of mine and tried to connect the SB3 to his network. He also has a SB3. His box was working, while mine could not stream any stations using the Squeezenetwork.
My box was connecting to the network using Ethernet this time, also with DHCP assigned IP addresses.
When we looked at the firewall log at my mates ADSL router, we could see that the box was still trying to connect to the proxy server on 192.168.0.100:8080 even if the new DHCP assigned IP address was on an other subnet (192.168.1.0/24).
We tried to reset the box and reconfigured but somehow this setting is not removed and the only way to stream to this box is using the Squeezeserver.

Regards
Panos

The proxy setting is associated with your player on SqueezeNetwork. Taking the player to another location won't change the proxy setting, so you need to manually fix or remove the proxy setting if it's no longer valid.
