Description Dan Evans 2008-03-19 16:00:20 UTC
On March 16, had some folks over and was showing off Duet. The controller got left on the table for about an hour or two. I picked it up and the screen immediately came on and displayed "Please Wait".

I displayed "Please Wait" for several minutes. I set it in its cradle and walked away. Came back maybe 20 minutes later and it still said "Please Wait". Pressing any buttons on the unit did nothing. It would not wake up fully from whatever sleep state it fell into.

I had to power it down and back up, at which time it was fine.

Sounds like a DHCP failure or couldn't reconnect.

I just encountered this issue here at the office.

I left the controller on my desk for over an hour and when I picked it back up,
the controller is stuck on the Please Wait screen.

I need the messages log from the SD card to progress this bug.

I have not been able to reproduce this with controller r2722, please retest with this version.

Make sure you have card in the controller, to capture a log, then re-open this bug and attach the log if you still see the issue.
