Description Paolo Bartolomeo 2008-03-16 01:02:10 UTC
1) Playback using Softsqueeze 3.x is very poor "mostly" from the right-channel.
2) The sound is coming through but is very "echo-y" and "digitally noisy".

Apparently, everything works fine with SoftSqueeze 3.6.

This problem is not solved for me. I have a
Macbook 2 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
MacOSX 10.5.5
SqueezeCenter 7.2
SoftSqueeze 3.7
The sound is very distorted.
With MacOSX 10.4 everything was ok.

I have tested Softsqueeze with my Mac Mini at work and the result
was the same. With MacOS 10.4 SoftSqueeze works perfect and with MacOSX 10.5
it sounds awful.

SoftSqueeze is scheduled to be replaced with SqueezePlay.

Please re-test with SqueezePlay when available in the nightly builds.
