Description Mike Walsh 2008-03-14 11:04:04 UTC
this bug has been talked about at length here:

http://forums.slimdevices.com/showthread.php?t=39771

the long and short of it is it still exists as described.

i can see how other people have annotated a stream that i also have (when the stream is loading). why i see it their way and not mine, i don't know, maybe it goes by first to save a fave, or last to do so?

but i also run the webcasts and i know the data is not in the stream, and not at the website.

i suppose this is minor, but it should be fixed, and it does indicate that data security may not be robust. (i'm no expert, but my novice eye considers that a reasonable implication).

This will be fixed by some database schema rework I am doing. After that each favorite will have one and only one title it can display when you play it.

Should be fixed on QA server.
Comment 3 Mike Walsh 2008-04-03 12:40:37 UTC
i think it is fixed, i just tried it and i no longer see the other info.

if i notice it again, i'll post here again, but for now i think you squashed it. thx.

Well if there was a bug it still exists in production. SN bugs are marked fixed when they are fixed on the QA test servers which is usually a while before they get rolled out to production.
Comment 5 Mike Walsh 2008-04-06 01:57:36 UTC
and you are correct...

like a dummy i forgot i was streaming via SC proxied.

i just right now connected to SN and the bug is in fact still there.

please let me know when the QA server goes to production with this fix, and i will test it again.

This bug has recently been fixed in the latest release of SqueezeCenter 7.0.1

Please try that version, if you still see the error, then reopen this bug.
