Comment 1 Michael Herger 2008-03-12 00:46:19 UTC
From where did you try to open the SoftSqueeze window? I checked in a change (before seeing this bug) which might already fix this issue. Could you please verify with the next nightly (change 17855)
Comment 2 Ole Soellingvraa 2008-03-12 09:35:34 UTC
From the SquezzeCenter homepage -> Extras -> SoftSqueeze
The latest nightly I can find is SqueezeCenter-7.0.1-17854
Comment 3 Michael Herger 2008-03-12 09:45:11 UTC
could you please set logging level for network.http to debug and try again? What do you see in server.log?
(don't forget to disable the logging afterwards, or your disk will spill over...)

Comment 9 Ole Soellingvraa 2008-03-13 11:11:31 UTC
yes, there is an index.html (file attached)
Comment 10 Ole Soellingvraa 2008-03-13 11:14:18 UTC
sorry - there are no softsqueeze folder
Comment 11 Michael Herger 2008-03-13 11:17:42 UTC
The file you uploaded either is EN/index.html, or EN/html/softsqueeze/index.html has been overwritten with some wrong file. Are you sure this is EN/html/softsqueeze/index.html? Did you try to completely remove SC and reinstall from scratch?
Comment 12 Ole Soellingvraa 2008-03-13 11:22:57 UTC
my mistake. The file I uploaded was from the EN folder

Yes, I did a "clean" install yesterday.

Ok, can confirm that softsqueeze is missing form the 7.0.1 builds. You probably best install the official 7.0 and then softsqueeze on top of it.

Matt - do you have an idea what's wrong here?
Comment 14 Michael Herger 2008-03-13 11:41:18 UTC
I meant 7.0.1 on top of 7.0 (not softsqueeze alone). Sorry for the confusion.
Comment 15 Ole Soellingvraa 2008-03-13 12:05:17 UTC
When you known where to look.... found anther workaround

Downloaded and unzip SqueezeCenter_7.0.ZIP and found the "missing" SoftSqueeze folder. After copying it to my 7.0.1 SqueezeCenter the Softsqueeze page is back.

Comment 16 Michael Herger 2008-03-14 00:08:36 UTC
Matt - $sourceDirsToExclude in buildme.pl excludes the folder softsqueeze from being copied. But only (build root)/softsqueeze should be excluded. The old makerelease.pl mapped the folders to be excluded: map { "$baseSourceDir/$_" } to only be excluded from the build root.
Comment 17 Matt Wise 2008-03-14 09:23:49 UTC
I've updated the buildme.pl script to only exclude /softsqueze, and leave the /server/blablabla/softsqueeze directory. Simple fix, but a good catch, thanks!

Fixed in revision 17889.

Comment 18 Ole Soellingvraa 2008-03-15 01:38:42 UTC
yes, problem solved with SqueezeCenter-7.0.1-17889. Thanks
