Description Rob Chelseth 2008-03-04 04:41:19 UTC
Using new SN Web UI dray & drop feature on Favorites list [IE 7.0] and the selected items either jump way up/down the list to an unselected location [often to the top of the list] or refuses to move more than one number up/down. Very irritating as it's now painful to reorder the Favorites list via drag & drop.

The favorites list layout was slightly broken until a few hours ago. Do you still see this behaviour? It's working fine for me.

Just tried to move the last favorite a few spaces forward to try out the favorites list. As soon as I started moving the favorite it's number (46) immediatly changed to 1. Once it became #1 it was impossible to move it back. I had to delete the favorite. Now when I try to add it back to the end of the list it will not accept it telling me that I'm entering an invalid URL (http://216.123.189.13:8000 - JAZZ FM TORONTO). As I was listening to this station earlier, I'm not sure why this is happening.

change 2856 - tell Sortable to scroll within div

Hi Michael - I just tried editing a favorite and it immediately went to #1. I could not move it down the list any further than #10. I tried to add it to the list as a new favorite and I'm getting an error message again. (See comment #1). Also the remote is still not functioning correctly. Pressing a number (other than #1) gives random positions.

Charlie - thanks for the comment. You're right in that it's not "fixed" on the production servers yet, as the change has not been pushed out to it. I've checked it in to the repository, and it will be verified by QA before we're uploading to the actual site. You should seen the change soon.

As for the other issue, please open a new bug (if it doesn't exist already). Thanks.

This now shows fixed, however I just tried my Favorites menu, and I am still experiencing the exact problem described in the original bug post 7400.

I can now move a favorites position in the listing. However I cannot add a new favorite (I did send another bug report - #7469)and my SqueezeBox remote still will not call up favorites by using the number buttons. The remote works as it should when using Slim Server.
